Cheers, its a bit small for my wheels I think. I already ordered the tyre though, but it looks in a bad state, bent and one part of the sidewall has a small bulge, do they all come in this state? Or hsould I return?
Tyres tend to get their shape from the air pressure acting against them so it isn't unusual for a tyre to look a bit out of shape when you get it.

If it is a rigid wire bead tyre though and the bend you are describing is from the wire bead being badly crimped it may make them difficult to get on the rim.

Merlin are currently doing a pair of of Vit Rubino 3 Pro (23mm) and pair of vit inner tubes all for £24.95.

Bargain.

I wouldn't recommend 23mm tyres for commuting. There's not really any need to run 23mm tyres at all nowadays, some endurance bikes are equipped with 32mm!

810g is a *lot* for a single tyre really. I've had good experiences with Vittoria Randoneurs but they seem less common now. Wiggle's own brand tyres seem to get decent reviews if you wanted to do both of them;

Seconded on the Randoneurs - I've worn out three sets of 700x35x Randeneur II's with no punctures. I commute in all weathers (inc snow/ice) and never found them lacking. I like the reflective versions for commuting.
