Hi guys, apologies if this is a familiar thread, but I couldn't find one exactly like what I'm after.
I have a WD Caviar SE (WD1600JD), and am thinking of going RAID 0 for speed.
At the same time I have a Thermaltake Lanbox Lite which sits on the desk and so can be a little noisy. This current drive is very loud in my opinion.
So basically I want the best of both worlds, a fast drive (or 2 as it be) which is as quiet as possible.
I'm lost between all the colours of Caviar and F1/F2 etc etc. Don't particularly want to go Green I feel due to the lack of speed, but don't know if the Blacks would be quiet in comparison to what I'm running?
Any experiences shared would be very welcome.
