Recommend me a Non-Wifi Router for use with Unifi-6 PRO

It 100% needs to be in when changing configuration and if you want the logging and tracking features of UniFi then you need to have it running all the time. A used Cloud Key Gen 1 is about £20 these days so why wouldn’t you have one?

These days you can set up the access points from the phone app. It’s significantly less learning curve than it used to be. I live this stuff every day and every day I still find out something new. It’s a vast subject and the development is currently going pretty quickly.
 
Just when you want to change something. You can use the app on your phone.

You can also install the controller in Oracle Cloud's free tier. For free, nothing, not even extra electricity usage.

Thanks everyone for the help.

I'll go for the app method first, if that doesn't cut the mustard, will try hosting the controller on Oracle free client.

No bur unifi stuff is premium equipment IMO. I’m aware not everybody needs to be experts.

3x TVs
2x Desktop
3x Phones
ManyX Nest & Home automation devices

^^ this is tiny useage. Anyway glad you come to a decision.
