I'm thinking of upgrading from my cheapo Aopen 350 watt psu to a Tagan 420 silent. I have following config:
amd 3000 athlon xp
2 X 512 dual ddr corsair ram
LG dvd burner
AGP 6600 silent cooled
maxtor pata 60 gig
lian li pc 6 plus II chassis
I have the following questions:
will this tagan psu run at 20 db on my system? Or is my system going to take more load than the minimum and get the fans spinning higher?
Also is it worth getting a modular psu? Or is it another thing to go wrong?
Tagan is the only brand i know. Can anyone recommend me something better in terms of quality and less noise. My budget is around £50
