Recommend me a racing game for my system

I was thinking Colin McRae Rally 5.0 unless someone has something different?
Will be playing at 1680*1050, I think Dirt will just be pointless and lag.

My systrem specs are

AMD Athlon 64 3200 stock
HIS Excalibur x800xl
1GB RAM

The free M3 demo from BMW is a nice start, great physics, not bad graphics and free to play online

Sadly though you need to mod nfs:carbon to run on widescreen.

carbon sucks imo

only good races are the one in the canyons
if you want nfs get most wanted

My media center is about the same spec. The kids play flatout2 on it and it runs pritty well. Looks good compaired to a lot of racing games Ive try for them as the settings normally have to be drop low.

Flatout 1 and 2 are both great racing games. id also give gtr a go.
