Recommend me some Coop games

Splinter cell conviction is great as a co-op but unless you are in a voice comms room together you wont be able to communicate with each other in-game :/

Have had a few good games with randomers though despite this.

Must add you to the in-game friends list mate. :)

Portal 2 and L4D2 (won't mention L4D1 as L4D2 will soon have all its maps as well) are amazing. L4D2 is much more fun if you have more than just two people, though I've had a blast with it with just my girlfriend as well.

Borderlands is quite good as well, but I can get a tad repetitive and its style won't appeal to everybody.

Have a look on the Co-optimus website, it has a HUGE list of games with co-op modes, definitely worth having a trawl through that!

FEAR3 is probably the next one I'll be trying in Co-op, after 2 mates have finished their play-through of the RE5 co-op :D

Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield and Swat 4 are both terific coop games, bit slower paced and with more tactical posibilities than your average shooter. Can probably pick either one up for very little at this point.

Kane and Lynch 2 (ignore the haters)

I've just played through this with a mate and it ain't great at all. The concept is good, but the implementation in places is very poor.

The cover system doesn't work at all since you can still take damage while in cover. It's very similar to the Gears of War cover system, except it's broken and doesn't work.

The weapon hit reg all over he place, enemies can take multiple head shots, even on easy difficulty and still get up from the floor and shoot you. Or they sort of hyper sprint from one piece of cover to another after being hit.

Enemies also spawn out of nowhere or behind you, even after you've cleared an area.

The loading times are appalling, even on a decent PC.

I only paid £3.75 for it and I think that's the absolute maximum it's worth, I played 4 levels on my own and the whole campaign in co op mode and I still only got 5 hours of play time out of it.
