Recommend me some "Dance" music

If you like Orbital then you may also want to give Kraftwerk and LFO a listen.

For more dancey stuff, early Fluke stuff is excellent. The Six Wheels on My Wagon album is a good starting point.

System 7 and Eat Static are also good for a more organic type of sound.

Klute's latest offering is rather great (Emporer's New Clothes). One CD of really chilled dnb and one of really chilled techno (as with all his albums :p).

Eurgh :(

Get some trance in ya! :D

I'm not allowed to link to my mixes, but you could look out for the Trance Around The World internet radio show.

These are are weekly and all over the place for download :)

You eurgh Pendulum, fair enough.

But then invalidate any credibility by suggesting trance :p

You get good trance, you get bad/commercial trance.

Pendulum is bad/commercial drum n bass :p

Pendulum is the mainstream "pop" of drum and bass. Loads of better people out there. High Contrast, Nu-Tone, London Elektricity, DJ Fresh, Logistics, Sub Focus etc.

Hartnoll Brothers (Orbital) have been doing a fair bit of solo stuff thats quite good recently.

Older Faithless stuff is good eg tracks like Salva Mea.

Also completely random but great are "Kids in Track Suits". Hard to describe there style, sort of beats/breaks kind of thing.

Quite a good site for suggesting similar types of music you might like:

Fire - Ferry Corsten

Awesomeness. I bought if off iTunes+ to see what the quality was like and it's pretty good.

Seriously get it. Every few months there is a dance track I really love. At present, this is it.

I know diddly about dance really but I've just started listening to some Soulwax/2 Many DJs and I'm really enjoying some of the mixes so they might be worth a listen. :)

Yep, As Heard On Radio Soulwax Pt. 2 is a classic cd.

best place to start , especially if your into rock/indie :)

its pretty much how i started listening to dance music and dj mixes

next step for me after 2 many djs was erol alkans essential mix,in 05 listened to it out of pure fluke of seeing some tracks i knew in the tracklsiting and him been labelled as the "bootleg king" , since then ive been a die hard fan

the reviews here say it all , its available to download on his website or podcast and is still one of the best mixes ive ever heard
