I need a recommendation i got 100 pounds but would like to spend less on best graphics card for that money

i had a 3870 until installing a gpu aftermarket cooler and accidently scratching the card with the screwdriver

the Radeon 4850 is the best card for £100, but only if you're gaming at 1440x900 or above. Otherwise you may as well save money.

i no on ebay i could get a 8800gt easy for 100 pounds is that better or maybe the 7series im not sure but i want it for the cheapest and the best lol perferably would like to improve on my previous card

4850 is the best card for your budget

it will in some games just beat a 8800GT, others by a wide margin. in all almost games - bar those that have very very poor support or are very old, it will beat the 7 series cards
