Hey all,

Looking to get myself a 7" tablet & have a limited budget of £100.

I'm leaning towards a 2nd hand Nexus 7 as it'll have similar performance to my phone ( One X+ ), which I'm content with.

Is there any others I should be considering at my price point, or is a 2nd hand Nexus 7 my best option?

i think the nook hd is quite good for £80

Thanks for the reminder. I'd forgotten all about the Nook HD.

For £80 it looks good, and seems to have plenty of support over on XDA.

Got any Clubcard points? Tesco Hudl

Sadly no. I've been keeping an eye on the Hudl as it's only £20 more, but it's made by Archos who don't have the greatest track record so far.

Time will tell I guess.

8Gb Nook HD if you want a microSD slot
Second hand Nexus 7 if you don't

Yeah, that's what it's looking like so far at least.

16gb should be enough as it'll be mainly used from browsing, with the odd game here & there.

If you can find one, I think Sainsbury had them in stock the Nook HD+ 9" screen was £129, they are excellent devices
