Hi all. Hope this is in the right section.

I am finally in the process of organising my digital life, and I will have all my tech bits and pieces as I have always wanted them.

This means, I will have a gaming/work PC with two SSDs in them (boot + steam drive), a small HTPC running a iTunes server (off an external networked drive).

But what I want to do is have a backup solution attached to this as well. Mainly for the media drive but the others would be useful as well. I know i could just mirror drives, but I don't want to do this for obvious reasons, instead I just want versioned backups (similar to my Macbook Air and my Time Capsule).

Can anyone give me any recommended software for this? I always prefer hitting up the forums instead of googling blindly.

I have a similar setup, I have an external HD which I have Windows (8) backup using file history.

If you're not familiar with File History, it's pretty similar different to Time Machine for Mac. However everything you want to backup has to be in a Windows Library (not sure if they've changed this for Windows 10), but for media that works fine as you just add the media folders into the relevant library.

For backing up OS installations etc, I use Acronis True Image.
