Recommended cheap/free games

Thanks everyone. Sound really good suggestions to keep me going for a good amount of time. Now I've to swap out hard drives before I get installing all these games.

Most older games still have a solid core player base, and as it's not the latest game it's very rare you'll get cheaters in them, however, you may find they have a lot of weird mods or versions of the game running (if the game allows it)

I think Battlefield 2 is still going as well.

That's good to know. I have loads of old games sitting around that I loved. I'll maybe have to buy a portable dvd drive to install them though.
 
I second war frame and also destiny 2 that’s a good game so far.
I do also love dirty bomb but it’s starting to slip into the cracks unfortunately
