Recommended power supply for 980 ?

Hello i have a "https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-148-GI" card coming tomorrow and i need to upgrade my current power supply 550w xfx to power the card. I was wondering what is the best power supply to purchase for around £50-90 modular preferably thats not insanely high wattage and a decent psu. Thanks in advance

Your link doesn't work but I am guessing it is a Gigabyte G1 card?

Can you list everything in your system? and if you wanted the option of SLI (if its supported by your board).

Yeah, but that doesn't tell me what CPU, drives, fans, cooling you have, it all adds up in wattage terms.

Yeah its a 980 sorry about the link. My system will be as follows
- Case: NZXT h440
- CPU: i7 4790k
- Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 5
- RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE 1600mhz i think
- Graphics:Gigabyte NVIDIA GTX 980 4GB DDR5 PCI
- Primary Drive: WD 1TB 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive - Caviar Blue
- Power Supply: xfx 550w currently need to replace

Did you ever intend to go SLI (two GFX cards) and what is wrong with the XFX PSU?

I doubt i will sli anytime soon as much as i would love to

. I wasnt sure if the 980 would work on 550w

Yeah it will work on that PSU and XFX PSUs are usually made by Seasonic so its not a nasty item.

I would have only suggested this PSU anyway - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-024-EA - Fully modular, Gold rated, made by Seasonic, Eco fan mode so turns off at low load/temperatures.

SLI would be a 850W PSU and this one - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-017-EA - is in budget and made by Superflower.
