recommended relay for a eheim 1250

1250 is a 240v pump so it can't be run from a Molex. You can wire it into the back of your PSU or do what I do which is never turn it off! They're designed to run 24/7.
 
A well know rip-you-off merchant which begins with M sells the things (there refered to as power relays for mains stuff).

A relay is electrical 'device' that allows a control voltage to switch on a larger power supply. So ArchAnGeL wanted to use the 12v from the molex hooked to a relay to switch on his water pump.

The one click main panel that richardw mentioned is pretty neat. Altough i dont use it for my sister WC pump (because i had a relay before I got the one click). Its very easy to use - just plug your computer into the first socket, and all your peripherals on the other socket (speakers, monitor, printer, pump...).

When ure PC is turned on, the rest of your equips will get power in 3 seconds.
When you turn off your computer, everything else turns off (completely, not standby) in 3 sec.

Simple and effective me thinks
