Recommended wireless router or wireless access point?

I am in desperate of a solid, reliable WAP or wireless router combined. Range must be good, and must not need resetting every so often or randomly giving out 'limited connectivity' to nodes.

I have had far too much bad luck with these so far.

Can you recommend one?

Anything cisco based for a wifi access point. Obviously these are expensive though.
My next choice is the netgear pro series, wg102 or similar. I have had one for 5 months now after putting up with a hopeless dlink ap for years, eventually hurling it out of an upstairs window in fury.
The netgear hasn't missed a beat, very impressed

What have you tried, and what are you intending to connect to it? Any budget?

I use a WRT54GL which I have flashed to use the dd-wrt firmware. This thing is rock solid now. Hasn't crashed on me at all and I've been using it for a few years now.

linksys never had a problem

d-link are horrible
