Recommended wireless router to use with XBox 360 wireless adapter

Hey everyone

I need to get a compatible router to use with an XBox 360 wireless adapter. I had an XBox 360 adapter just after the 360 was first launched, but it wouldn't work with my current router as it didn't support 802.11a/g. Now, I need to get one for my boss so that he can connect his XBox to his PC (for media centre) and to XBox Live. He has the wireless adapter and a Netgear DG834G (v1 or v2, definitely not v3) but it won't work correctly. When he tried to connect to media center and XBox Live, a message comes up saying something along the lines of the adapter not being compatible with his router.

So, I need a router that will function correctly with an XBox adapter and I am now looking for recommendations from the OcUK peeps :)
 
I know plenty people using the Netgear DG834G v3 and have no problems running it along side their Xbox 360 on wireless.

Your friend must not have it setup properly, It is the router I was going to recommend aswell.
 
Hi there

It is set up correctly, but it is a very old version of the DG834G so I don't think it works quite so well. I might try the v3 :)
