Will look into that. Anytime I use MSI afterburner I can only record smoothly using RTV1 Compression but I don't know what program I'd need to convert/compress the huge file sizes to something acceptable for a 30 min video (2-4GB)

Will try out that program and see what results I get using fraps instead.

Edit : turns out all the media players on my pc were the issue. Now my recordings are fine and here I was thinking it was a hardware issue. Now to find compression software to maximize fill size compression but keep quality high.
