Recording VHS > PC - how?

so ive got a few tapes that i would like to be recorded onto the pc, just wondering how i go about that?

ive got the compro videomate DVB-T300 digital & analog TV tuner, could i use that to do it? if so would any special software be needed, or can i just record straight off with the comproDTV 2?

Yes, just connect the SCART OUT of your VHS recorder to the Line In of the TV card and the (preferably SVIDEO)-in of the TV card

You can quite happily use the software, just press play on the VHS machine and press RECORD in the application (once you have switched to the SVIDEO/COMPOSITE setting of the TV card)
