Hi guys

Errrrr, pressed 'delete' when I really didnt mean to. On a mechanical Harddrive, what are my options? Pictures are mostly on facebook but I'd really like my own copy personally. Its not my primary harddrive, is it possible to recover the data/pictures?

Cheers, Lawz

Use Recuva.

Make sure not to use the disk with the deleted files on until you've recovered them. The files aren't "deleted" as such but if you use the disk you may overwrite the files you're trying to recover.

Also when you're recovering the files make sure you recover them to a different disk than you're recovering from as again you may write over the files you're recovering.

Thank you guys :D

I just need to sort them back into folders now, I know its weird but I'd rather keep my own copy even though theyre all mostly uploaded anyway :P

Hello Lawz,

You can also try Kernel for photo recovery tool for the purpose of the same.
Try the demo version of the software in which you can preview the lost, deleted and corrupted pics and if want then recover them selectively. Check the demo version of the software for the working of the software.

Thanks

Recuva is a great little program and very easy to use.

I use it at work all the time on pen drives and the like that staff members + pupils have "accidentally" erased an important document from
