Recover folders

What it is, I went and gave a partition on my HD a quick format, and forgot to make a backup of the drive contants. Is there any software that I can use to recover the files and folders on that partition.

Testdisk, might be able to recover the whole partition

Failing that, GetDatabackForNTFS

recuva is great for this too. As long as you haven't written anything to the disk since you should be ok

getdataback is gooooooood i use that.
it might not recover everything though - no soft will. but this is one of the good softs

Tried them, and also Easus. Though Easus was better, i still did not get all my files back. I got the files i did not mind losing, and lost the files i really needed. :eek:

That a better one, got back my files that I was after, but not too good on photos. But who cares, at least i got my word files back.

Active undelete is also very for for data recovery as you can select to find by file type. This is what I use when doing data recovery of photo's
