Recovering calendar settings (outlook) from disk image

Hi guys, can this be done? A friend has reformatted after taking an image of his HDD with Acronis true image. Only to realise that he did not export his Outlook calendar. Now aside from restoring the old image and doing that is there anyway he can extract the calendar settings from the drive itself, a bit like with outlook emails which are stored as IDX files i believe.

The calendar contents or the calendar settings? 2 different things. If just the calendar then you can grab the PST file and import it into Outlook again.

C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

yup

use acronis to mount the image so you can get at the file
