I am hoping someone who has done this before can shed some light on my problem.
I am trying to recover some photos from a Galaxy Tab 2, stuck on the Samsung flashing logo. From what I can gleam from articles, this cannot be done from the Android Recovery or Download Mode, both of which I can access.
I believe the device can be fixed, by a firmware update and I am quite capable of following some online instructions to do this, however there might be a change how ever slim, that in the process this might format the data partition.
So, is there a way that before I begin any process of recovery and update that I can access /.data to get off all the information on the internal SD card?
