Interesting one this... I recently built a new PC with a new hard drive, and when after importing the old SATA drive, I started to copy data. Half way through, the copy crashed and since then, the hard drive can't be activated. It shows in Disk Management as 'offline' and attempting to reactivate generates a configuration error in the error log.
Any ideas? Does anyone know of good utilities to get data off a SATA driver that can't be activated properly in Windows?
