Recovering files on Android Tablet?

[helpimcrap]

Think it's an Aldi Medion one.

Been asked if I can recover some files. Never messed with tablets but guessing they have a kind of 'trashcan'?

Or is it a case of downloading some files to recover it? Which no doubt will contain huge amounts of adware and be a bit dodgy.

Can anybody recommend something if it is different please?

Plug it into your PC and hopefully it should come up like an external drive.
All my Android devices do.

Even if the files have been deleted off?
