Recovery Software

I have used Active Uneraser, Recuva, Easy Recovery Pro and Pandora and I have yet to recover the files, I have used all the above and still no joy.

What happened was that I deleted a folder by accident, I was deleting around 10 - 12 folders and I accidently highlighted the folder that didn't needed deleting.

When I deleted it I used Shift+Delete now I need to restore that one file, any softwares out there just designated for Jpeg/image recovery.

please help!

Also off topic, which software is best for decrypting jpegs/images?

I've yet to have a problem that R-Studio could not solve.
Costs about $50 but it's paid for itself several times over for me.

Is this for Decryption or for recovery?

These are my settings:

I've recovered stuff using those settings, even from usb sticks I've used the wiping gutmann method on. Sorry I can't be of any more use.

Yeah I'm afraid that is also how my settings is too and still no joy, thanks for the help, much appreciated for your help thanks

Its possible that something has over written the part of the hard drive the files were stored on, in which case its going to be much harder or even impossible to retrieve them.

I didn't do anything straight after deleting the item by accident, everytime I did a recovery I did it in another Hard Drive

If none of those programs work you're out of luck. But you might be lucky when you look through the unidentified files they come up with.

Try putting the hard drive on a linux box, retrieved afew folders for me in the past
