Just had 10 red arrows do a low flyby over my house in Bournemouth!

3 sets of 3 in a triangular formation, with one trailing at the back.

Had the hairs on the back of my neck stand up with the sound, reminded me I haven't been to a decent airshow in sometime.

Are any coming up in the Dorset area?

I just got four free tickets to the Eastbourne one :D

I say free, I'm just about to buy a £350 lens for it (and other things).

They're practicing for next month's air show. Best 4 days of the year :D
In the next few weeks you should see a Eurofighter, loads of helicopters and some smaller planes flying overhead. Going to be a noisy month!

A couple of pics I took last year. Shame the weather wasn't nicer:

Yeah they are at the sunderland international airshow this weekend they obviously fly quite far around to get in formations etc so might be near u sometimes but there showing off there stuff at sunderland today.

Hmm actually im not sure now that i just relised where ur at. Hell knows lol but i know there here in sunderland cos i heard them all day.

They were also at Windermere today, thought they might be as both shows are usually on the same day

they opened sunderland airshow at 12 and were gone after around 30minutes so its entirely possible they went elsewhere, some of the other planes that apeared after the red arrows were off to refuel and then straight off to scotland for a different airshow.

good thing about the red arrows was on there way over to the sunderland airshow they flew right overhead pretty low buzzing the crowd on there way to the beach ^^

all the other planes entered along the coast because generally the planes arent alowed to fly over the crowds at airshows in this country anymore.

wish the apache would have flew over head :( looked pretty cool and sounded quite loud, i saw it on friday aswell flying over leazes park in newcastle

yeah, I was at sunderland today.. the red arrows were great. As was the vulcan! regretting not wearing suncream now though :(

Bleedin' things are stalking me this year.

Month or so back I was sitting in the back garden having my lunch and they flew over the house. Week later i'm having lunch outside at work and they flew over there. Then on Thursday we were going to watch the show at the RAF Marham families day and they flew over in the other direction whilst we were on the way there before we saw them display later in the day.

3 chance sightings in the space of a couple of months is just weird.
