*** Red Dead Redemption 2 ***

It’s traditionally a single player experience and no doubt it will be excellent as per. However it’s belived(possibly confirmed I haven’t checked) that a gta online style gameplay mode will also be present. Could also be amazing fun so long as it’s hacker free and has enough activities.

Of course there will be, these once indie game developers are now multi-national corporations looking at their bottom line. It WILL come out on PC, they'll release the info once the initial sales start slowing down (I predict just after Christmas - March) and there will be online play with cash shop.

I believe it will have been developed from the beginning with PC portability in mind.

Due to the popularity of GTA V on pc it would be silly not to port it over but I’d expect a similar release window.

Consoles 2018
Pc late 2019 early 2020

Bought GTAV pre-order on x-Box 360 then bought again on PC.

I currently don't own a console but thinking of buying one literally just for this, then selling once I am done with it.

If it does come to PC I wonder if nVidia will slip Rockstar some cash to include ray tracing, it'll be one of the biggest selling PC titles for years.

I’ve not used my PS4 since I bought a new PC back in Feb but quite fancy this and don’t want to wait for it to hit PC. Do you reckon it will play ok on a regular ps4 as dont want to by a pro just for one game even though I will be playing a a 4K OLED.

Absolutely. It should be 1080p30 solid on a PS4 as it would have been designed for that system primarily. Xbone might come in at 900p30 and then the others 1440p or even 2160p for X1X. That's the way things usually go. (My poor PS4 hasn't seen a look in since my PC came either. I feel ashamed for neglecting it.)

I am a 20 year PC gamer and bought PS4 year ago, so far finished some 15 exclusives on it. This year only God of War and Detroit, and will play Spiderman and RDR. It is kind of a redundant, worthless piece of hardware, but as long as Sony owns good studios, thems the breaks.

I don't agree with that. Even though I've not switched it on for a few months, I still love it to pieces. I plan on getting a PS5 on launch day (providing it plays PS4 games).

I wonder how far off the new consoles are and whether R* might make a tarted up version to release on the new consoles. If that was the case then we could probably expect the PC version a little later, like last time with GTAV. R* made a fortune doing it this way last time.

I did see a rumour that the next Playstation could be here as early as late 2018, but that seems very unlikely.

Don’t say that or I’ll have to buy a bloody NV RTX card!

Only game I’m currently looking forward to on my PS4 Pro.

Lots of new previews, first person view is in and the amount of detail seems astounding - Rockstar seems to be trying to craft a total simulation of Wild West, which is cool.
The PC version will be glorious :)

(yes it will be released later eventhough they may deny it for now)

My wife met with one of the developers (it's her job) and whilst I can't go into detail. The game will not disappoint from what she told me. GTA V is a baby in comparison.
