Because I'm getting an amp with 4 hdmi in and trying to do away with everything thats not HDMI =)

HTPC, PS3 and 360 is HDMI, but sadly 360 only does 2.0 LPCM over HDMI

Just get it on 360 and buy a toslink cable? Seriously, if this is the only reason you're going for the PS3 version I'd suggest that myself anyway. I've got a HD receiver but for games sound isn't HD anyway (yet) so the HDMI isn't noticeably better than toslink/optical.

I was just thinking the same thing, it got bored of GTA IV, even though it had good reviews, the girlfirend aspect really was annoying as hell.

War horses are supposed to be the best horse whit higher stats than the rest, so it wont tire as quickly and more health so wont die as fast.

I wonder if they'll offer any future DLC content ala GTA4 Gay Tony etc (not that I've played it but from what I've read they are excellent addons). Imagine what they could do with (although that may not be possible as we don't know what they've already done in the game).

They have said they have some lined up already and they will be free, probably more after that as well

yes. only 2.0.

I get dolby 5.1 over my hdmi to my onkyo 308 - am i missing the point here but why would youu need LPCM when it can do DD over hdmi?

Although I've pre-ordered RDR, I really hope it has a far more interesting and engaging story than the non existant one in GTA4.
