There will be a new 6-part series of Red Dwarf being filmed next month in front of a live audience.

I just found out I've got tickets, as a big fan this is quite exciting!

I appreciate it's a long shot to match any of the previous seasons in terms of quality and humour, some of the earlier stuff is just excellent, but it should be a fun experience non the less.

Any other OcUK'ers apply for tickets? They are being confirmed today.

NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO i didn't know they were doing tickets :/

It won't be a patch on series 1-6, but it'll still be great to see i'm sure

My girlfriend loves Red Dwarf, she's applied for tickets too.

The website crashed, so she phoned up and they said, as long as you've registered, you should get tickets

Hopefully with the live audience back they are forced to pick up their game back to earth was terrible, but I do have a soft spot for season 8 :)

Excited about the new series but never knew you could apply for tickets etc. Never been fussed about live comedy but it'd still have been very interesting...plus it's Red Dwarf so i'd have made an exception. Let's hope everyone who does get to go enjoys it and we get a good series out of it.
As stated it's almost impossible to match the quality in 1-6 especially. Every episode of those was brilliant. 7/8/9 were still decent though. More so 8 than the others as I liked that a lot more than 7/9

If series 10 ends up being better than the last 3, but worse than the first 6 then to be honest i'd be absolutely chuffed to bits. So that's what i'm hoping for.

Plenty things can come back after years out and release something great. Anyone remember Madness's last album? It was thought as by many to be their best ever work after 20 years doing pretty much nothing.

Here's to hoping.

I had no idea there was an opportunity to get tickets :(

I dont hold out much hope of it being better than their early stuff, but if its any improvement over the last couple of series, I'll be happy.

The company that deals with it are Lost In TV. The info was on the official Red Dwarf site, but I heard about it from @bobbyllew.

I managed to get tickets by sending an email to their admin after the site crashed.

Tickets are no longer available, my girlfriend just got a call saying she was unsuccessful. Anybody fancy selling theirs?
