Hi,
About 3 times in the last two weeks, my newish computer has frozen and the screen has turned red and flashes, here is an image.
When it happens I have no control over anything and the only thing I can do is hold the power off button, I built this computer about a month and a half ago, and it has been running perfectly accept for this. Here are my specs:
I5 2500k (no OC currently)
Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 MoBo
Corsair VengeanceLP 8GB 1600mhz
EVGA 560 ti DS GPU
Sharkoon 600w Modular PSU
Hitachi 1TB with a OCZ 30GB SSD using SRT
To me it most probably looks like the graphics card because of the nature of the error and the fact that music still plays through the speakers when this happens, Then again it has never happened in games. The only other thing is that I am using an DVI to VGA adapter, because I'm waiting for my new monitor to come, but I don't think that's going to be the problem.
Temps. are very normal and low by the way.
Thankyou in Advance,
Bigladluke
