I'd want ECC RAM for ZFS so I think I'm stuck with 2666 MHz sticks!For your build no, as its more an automated system and the 1800X would be just fine, your £100 better of which you can either pocket or use the extra funds to grab that incredible 32GB DDR4 kit at £199 which is like £100 cheaper than competitors.
Why is the 'AMD edition' RAM both low frequency and high latency when we know that these CPUs scale really well with faster memory? ¬_¬
Did you expect more than 8GB for that price?
