Red Hot Chili Peppers End Break After Two Years

Well time flies. They were **** at Leeds07, and I haven't missed them. Why couldn't they have gone away for 10 years?

This will be pretty good if they can stop trying to be Bono as well as concentrate on making one decent collection of tunes, rather than two over-indulgent collections of a few good tunes and a load of filler.

John Frusciante's solo work > anything RHCP have come out with. Fact!

(that is to say after he got off the heroin and got his teeth back...)

how can you not like rhcp. there one of the few bands out there where u can say every musican is very good at there instument.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of my all time favorite bands :)
I think they're fantastic
Loyal fan for many many years

Good news :)

Awesome news :) I hope they tour - haven't seen them live before so will definatly jump at the chance this time around :)

Can't say I'm that excited really, if at all.

RHCP are one of my fav bands, but only up to and including One Hot Minute. Their finest album in my opinion, John F is a great axe-man but Dave Navarro is a legend and One Hot Minute is a stonking album.

Their late 90's comeback was lame and what they've knocked out since then has been paint by numbers radio friendly crap, a real shame looking back at what they achieved in the past.

Navarro is not Frusciante... One Hot Minute was wrong, although good in it's own right.

RHCP are a great band no denying

Such a shame Californication sounds like it's been recorded in a tin can

Yeah - but it doesn't automatically make them make great music, does it?

Never been a fan myself personally.

What? Are there more Faith No More songs to copy or are they going to rip off folk music now?

They wouldn't be that bad if they changed that odd haircut guy - you know - the flat note, uninspiring vocalist.
