red hot chili peppers

I know they played it on Scott Mills show this morning cos I listened. He's filling in for Chris Moyles so it was the breakfast show. I'm pretty sure if you go to the Radio 1 site you can listen again.

They also played it on Zane Lowe show just before reading tickets came on sale, between 7.00-7.30. Its very Chilli Peppers, i liked it.

dont really wanna listen to the whole show though really :(

It was at 5 to 2ish......so work out when it starts and how far away that is! Its exactly like their recent stuff.....which is great though so no complaints from me :D

edit - Breamy, where are you seeing them? Going to see them in Manchester!

I didn't think it was too bad actually, first Chilis song I've liked for over 10 years infact.

It's still not a patch on their now long gone style of the late 80's/early 90's that I know and love, but certainly better than the drab and boring effort that was By The Way.

sounds a bit Sweet Home alabama at the begining

that's because John Frusciante will die before he writes anything remotely original or groundbreaking

 what!!!!!!1 his stuff is fantastic!!!

(apart from this sounding a little familiar)

dont get me wrong, he's a good guitarist, but original he is not. conversely, his solo stuff tries to hard to be original, and fails to be good

That's found its way into my MSN Personal Message box...I know a girl who is a mad Frusciante fan, and it's going to annoy her. :p

this would be my favourite coincidence ever, but you're not in Reading, by any chance are you?

It's not really though is it?

Dave Navarro was the best thing to happen to the Chilis, if only briefly, and is one of the main reasons why Jane's Addiction are so awesome.

Have you heard any of his solo material? He's a far better guitarist than Dave 'The Crotch' Navarro. Check out 'Carvel' from Shadows Collide with People.

As for that new track - pretty good :) I'll be interested to hear more.
