...World Buffet and Bar is possibly the best restaurant I've been to in a while :D As I usually live on McDonald's and KFC it's nice to have a change. Me and my mate went there tonight for a meal and it was just brilliant, there's a self-service buffet and like little sections with various types of food: Oriental, Tex-Mex, Italian, Indian, ect. and finally a massive desert section, was just wow :) only drawback was there was abit of a wait about 20 mins for us as it was packed but they let you wait at the bar and they call you when your table is ready. Anyways just thought this was worth a mention :) hope this got you as excited as it got me :p

:O but why? it was so nice there and the staff were so friendly :)

Well:
1) it's all pre-prepared slop
2) the food is devoid of any interesting flavour or texture
3) it's the kind of place where you end up with food poisoning
4) purely out of principle, I would avoid any kind of "restaurant" where they don't actually have anything to cook the food with other than a microwave
5) no wonder the staff are so nice, they don't really do a lot other than point you to the food that they don't have to serve you

6) full of chavs and scumbags who go to graze and stuff, not to eat

Ergh, sounds like the food they serve at Wetherspoons. My sister is always bringing home curries and chilli and its frozen in a plastic container, like you would get from Asda for £1.

She brings home stuff that is past the serve by date. Ive had a couple but they're too crap to eat, even for free food.

my friend goes to these places all the time like those awfull two for one places. ughh would rather a mcdonalds!

the best buffet is Golden Coral in the USA for breakfast only, when hung over dear god are they awesome!.

Freshly cooked omlettes, eggs any style and as much bacon as a man can eat!

followed by an array of cakes! om nom nom

well actually, maybe you should try going there first before dragging my opinion down; I didn't say that everyone had to like it; it's just an opinion.

bbc news had an article about these style of restuarantsd a few weeks back. Well it was a chain of them.
They thought "texican" was a new thing, while everyone in the comments section pointed out that it's tex mex and been around for years.
