it was a christmas film. Non offensive, family viewing that extols the spirit of christmas and forgiveness. if people are looking for something deeper, they probably should have looked at aronofsky or nolan - but I thought it was a fun little film.
Non offensive, really?it was a christmas film. Non offensive, family viewing that extols the spirit of christmas and forgiveness. if people are looking for something deeper, they probably should have looked at aronofsky or nolan - but I thought it was a fun little film.
My dude, it has a 12A certificate so if there was any bad language in there, it isn't gratuitous.Non offensive, really?
There was MUCH more swearing than a movie like that needed where your main audience is kids / tweens.
I had to watch it over 3 sittings, it was work.I couldn't get past first 20 minutes, it was just rubbish
Carry On is pretty good, very loosely christmas movie though. Is this the best Xmas movie of 2024 or are there any better options?
Ok, so am I to believe he's a habitual anabolic steroids user, but some sort of Hollywood Cabal is managing to keep it on the down low, so he can keep making them millions of dollars starring in average movies
The millions (and millions) of his fans have all had the wool pulled over their eyes and only a few smarts on the internet know the real truth? Are there others in Hollywood doing the same?
Does the Rock have the clout to keep this story hidden from the tabloids/internet haters/Vin Diesel fans?

Same - watched with the kids who enjoyed it, and to be honest for what it was I though it was OK. As expected, bit cheesy etc, but that's what you want in this kind of film.We enjoyed this as a family, yeah it's a bit of nonsense, and what they paid to make the film is probably too much for what it ended up like, but it's a bit of harmless fun, I enjoy most of it not all of what the rock stars in, may not be Oscar worthy but they are usually at least entertaining enough to put a smile on face
The pacing and storytelling makes sense - same guy who did the jumanji films...So there's your dwayne johnson link.Quite enjoyed it. It was a touch too long and you could tell the director had obviously watched too many Marvel films, especially Ant Man! It was a fun romp though, cast was good and it did well to incorporate some of the christmas folklore.
