definately try reseating the gfx card, it's power cables too. Is it a new card or has it been working fine then stopped?

New card, i'll try and put it in a different slot now. On the actual card there is a 8 and a 6 slot. (like i said i've tried fill both individually, would using the spare pcie [so filling all 14 holes] fry it?)

Just like to apologise for my spelling in the op. Damn it was bad.

14?

I have a FrozR III and it takes 2 x 6 PCI-E connectors.

If it has 14 holes for power then they will all need to be filled, but that seems like a strange number?

Edit: Can you post a picture of the connectors?

no, you need to fill all 14 holes with one 8 pin PCIe cable and one 6 pin PCIe cable. the 8 pin might be split into a 6 pin and a 2 pin.

without them the card wont get enough power

its probably a high end Nvidia card. i know either the 570 or the 580 (or both) use 1x 8 pin and 1x 6 pin

@OP: what make/model PSU do you have?

You're meant to plug both in, not just one of them. Otherwise the thing wouldn't even turn on! There's your problem :D.

Thanks for the helps lads! Still getting nothing on screen though. The red light on the graphics card has gone, your suggestions worked, thanks.

However theres a red light next to "memOK! (I've changed the RAM around a couple of times (matching coloured slots) but it still there.) and no HDD light (i think its active but is there a more definite way to tell)?

Really appreciate the help.

Have you got the 24 pin connection plugged into the motherboard? Have you got the 4/8pin connected to the motherboard for the CPU too? Have you also connected the HDDs to the power supply?

Try pressing the little button next to it. I had to do that the first time I turned mine on with the new Asus board.
No HDD light....have you plugged in the front panel connectors correctly?
