After trying for ages, I actually managed to get tickets to see the legendary film maker Kevin Smith of Dogma, Clerks and now Red State fame in Manchester next week. However I realise this is a Q&A but other than a question about the film, I have no idea what I want to ask him about that he hasn't already answered.

Any ideas? please post below

Why are you such a fat idiot? If you really wanted to you could lose the weight, your daughter is already picking up on your bad habits, do you not feel ashamed of yourself you gross egomaniac?

(I used to be a fan, then as he ran out of material for his podcasts and just presented himself, I realised whilst he may be one of the greatest story tellers this generation has ever seen, he has an abysmal personality)

How can a guy like Kevin Smith get a girl like this.

Run out of material? His podcasts are awesome, I listen to them driving to work and they always make me laugh, I love Mewes trying to recount his life and messing up all the time. To be honest, I would love to be in his position, his wife ain't very good looking, she's flat chested and got a massive forehead, but she's really funny too.

I would love to do daily podcasts for a job, but I don't have an audience who care what I think lol

How about: “Do you ever plan on making an original movie without rehashing any of your old characters that doesn’t suck?” :p

Always been a big fan of his Q&A sessions. Search for Kevin Smith talking about George Clooney

I'm actually making a trip up to Brum after work Thursday to see the film and him.

On one hand I quite like the guy, reading through all his old blog stuff was good.

But lately all his various blogs (ffs can't the guy keep everything in once place, there's stuff all over the shop which is a pain to try and keep up with) and tweets just seem to be promotion for various things.

I'm not knocking the guy, he has the audience to listen to him so why not, but I liked the old stories about his day to day stuff.

Spent a fortune to see him in the o2 a couple of years back and he just retold what he'd said on his podcasts. Would have liked to see this Red State showing but am working unfortunately. Jay and Silent Bob live is happening in Feb but I question £35 a ticket for 2 guys talking.

He ran out of material ages ago, when he has an interesting story to tell, he tells it fantastically, but when its just him talking about every day stuff, or commenting on current events, he shows his true self and is very unlikeable.

Last time I listened to him and mewes, it seemed that the entire podcast was basically.. "what've you been up to?" "how long has it been since you did drugs" "random talk about our sex lives" "we like to play a game, called 'let us (insert naughty word here)'".

Was interesting when they were talking about their past.. but then, it got boring and repetative.. much like red state
