red vs blue SATA leads

One is SATA1 and one is SATA2, according to my local computer shop! Which one was which, I never bothered asking. I immediately felt the urge to escape from there.

I always thought the soul purpose of those small local PC shops were to bs the customer and rip them off big style. This seemed to be the trend in the late 90's, but since then they seemed to go bust as the consumer discovered the Internet.

they told you that? morons  im guessing my orange cables are sata7, and my black cables are sata-Xtreeeeeme.

Heaven knows what they'd have thought the clear ones are. SCSI, maybe. :p

I have blue ones, they clash terribly with the rest of my setup. Going to invest in some red ones I think.

Does anyone know where i can get those SATA cables that come with such boards as the 975 XBX? or who is the manufacturer? Those cables are quality and got the best grip i've seen so far.

Not really - I ask you this, what is the sound of a tree falling if there is no-one there to hear it - hahaha, I've always wanted to use that one!

Just because someone is colour blind, this does not mean that the cables are not of a different colour....

One absorbs red and green EM waves and the other absorbs blue and green in the visible range...
