Redecorating

Hi everyone,

I am thinking of redecorating/redesigning/reinventing my bedroom as my parents have agreed to throw something toward a budget.

Currently my room is highly messy and very plain. My PC is the main thing in the room, apart from the bed, my two beige 17" CRTs are a bit boring but I'd like to keep them - can I mod them at all? Can I just spray paint them ?

I am mainly looking for inspiration for the room at the moment so I'd appreciate it greatly if you could point me towards sites/provide pictures of interesting decorated rooms.

I'm thinking of basing myself around the techno kind of theme but I'm interested in looking at anything at the moment.

A trip to Ikea often makes sense. You may not actually buy anything from there but the showrooms are usually brimming with ideas.

Not sure about painting your monitors though...

Don't see why you shouldn't be able to spray paint 'em.
Just remove the casing (voiding your warranty obviously) and spray paint it somewhere well ventilated.
