Redesigning a logo

I've been given the task to redesign and improve my team logo at work... Was wondering if you photoshop experts out there could help give me some ideas please and how you think it can improve?

This the the logo:

(Reason it is called 'Power Team' is because I work in a team that deals with electrical appliances such as shavers, electric toothbrushes and batteries/chargers.)
 
I'll give it a go tonight after I finish my work, see what Ideas I can do for you.

My first one would be to make the text fit in with the power button, (green & white) and put it on a more elegant, maybe brushed metal background.

It still needs a little tweaking I think but I'm tired and have work to do! :D

Yea I was getting really tired so just banged it on the corner for now.
I've got a good idea for it though. Will send you the Photoshop file later if you have Trust set up...

What version (if any) of Photoshop do you have?
 
Okay, it's all done, final is below:

I've sent you a Trust message to download the file.
I left all the original elements in the file including the Hue/ Saturation layer so you can change the colour of the design to any colour you like instantly.
