Hello :)

I have got a BMW E90 320D and I have seen a few threads on the net about people using redex and I thought I would see if anyones used it.

Is it worth giving it a go?

Thanx!

I had a niggle with hesitation under hard acceleration - 2 tanks with Millers Diesel Sport 4 sorted it out, hasnt happened since. Wouldnt bother using it regularly though

i have used Redex in a petrol car to good affect
ex g/f had a vectra that missed when you put the power back on after changing gear and 2 tanks of fuel with Redex in sorted it.
but not used it in a diesel so far

I tried Redex in my old Mondeo TD, hoping to unleash the masses of power locked away in that engine.....

Its stayed locked away..... :D

Not bothered with my current 328i having noticed no effect with my previous 728i.

I've tried a couple of bottles in my leon, not noticed much difference tbh - used it when I knew I was going out for a spirited drive on a few occasions.

More peace of mind than anything for me really, and for the same extra cost that it'd be for a tank of VPower Diesel rather than normal Diesel (which also had no effect, other than a tad better mpg on LONG distances - ie >200 miles) it was worth a try.

my audi years back developed a wobbly idle. i figured it could only be down to injectors etc. it cleared up totally on 2 tanks with the millers, i stopped using it for a while and then carried on again. the car was tweaked and witht he millers it didnt smoke on full bore

Have you tried it in your truck? :D

I tried some in my car. The car was marginally faster, but that was probably due to my wallet being lighter. :p

Sod that! it'll cost a fortune! - although I'd get a large weight reduction from my wallet also!

I'm not sure what additive / fuel ratio your supposed to use, but my Scania holds around 800litres...... :D

Reminds me.
Wasn't there some guy who bought a soft drink and poured it into his fuel tank, or did he buy redex (or equivalent) and drink it?
