A little collab to help another fellow modder/creator out who has gone out and developed his own open frame. The first iteration was decent but this V2 is on a whole different level!

We are supplied the Bronze version of the Canvas which imo is the best colour option for this, it looks absolutely stunning! Powdercoated finish with a Metallic Bronze, looks stunning in person!

The canvas is designed to be sat with the bottom of the frame on the floor however we lifted it up and used a couple of rad stands to perk it up so we could mount larger 420mm radiators on each side which maximising and keeping the main feature on the frame itself with all of the core components.


First test fit of components and we're going a step further this time with watercooled memory! 64gb Kingston Fury DDR5 kit!

Today on the rare occasion that i've had a full day on my own! No baby, no wife! I decided to muscle ahead and get the plumbing work started, route is planned and ready for tubing! Tubing arrived a few days ago and we're going with Carbon Fibre . Also did some colour coding on the second 420mm radiator to match the frame. Finish is *Chefs kiss*

Since Thermal grizzly is lacking a few watercooling fittings at the moment namely, angled and 90 degree female to female fittings, i've opted to mix it up abit with Bitspower fittings. Still looks good IMO!

Nice. It's always interesting to see different fittings like that being used - bigger or more angular or industrial. The kind of thing you look at and think no, that looks lumpy/large/awkward but when someone's used them consistently like you have, it looks surprisingly good. A bit like builds where it's hardline with no bends and all done in fittings, you think it'll look cluttered and messy but it can work.

If i was to use the larger Bitspower Artemis fittings then it definitely would look super bulky as they're similar to EK's Torque fittings in size and bulk. The new Thermal Grizzly fittings are small and a decent compromise of the 2 sizes, a good mid way i think. I do love the rotatable logo too, i haven't adjusted them in the photo but they can be rotated any 360 degree to match the orientation of your build/aesthetic.

Hopefully when the tubing goes in along with the cables, it's going to have the same impact and be relatively cohesive!
