There was another pledge thread which is where all the posts for the auction were generated
I'll do some searching, ta.
He's hoping that the mods will increase his postcount instead. He's been here long enough to know that when people start a thread asking for a name change or post count increase or something, they usually get the exact opposite.
Just a failed attempt at reverse psychology really.

Thing is, he might genuinely want to drop his count for some unknown reason, or as you say he might want to enlarge and wave his big wad of post-counts...
why not just freeze them where they are so either way he doesnt get what he wants?
