Referencing for assignments.

In two years at uni I don't think I've ever had to reference anything.

We use Harvard at Portsmouth, there's a guide on the library website which basically walks you through how to reference any type of source - http://referencing.port.ac.uk/apa/index.html

I think you may need to include in-text citations too throughout your work.

I'm doing a politics essay at the moment and they use harvard apa. I have not used this referencing system before as i do history. Do you know if i need to use footnotes? I have been using in text citations. Cheers! I'm at Portsmouth too btw!
