reformat after overclock

didnt know where to post so this looked like the right place.

after overclocking my CPU will re-formatting my pc wipe my overclock off ?

Nope, aslong as you did it through the bios it will be fine. Not sure about one of those overclocking programs which come with motherboards such as abit and so on.

Some of those little proggies do make the changes in BIOS, and they stick. Others seem to apply them at boot time, which in this case would lose the settings naturally.
