Refund On Swift Or Get Replacement ?

is this the new nvidia/amd :D

I went for the Acer for IPS, will be using it for design as well, would have much preferred the style of the Asus, will have to see if it bothers me...
 
I'd have jumped if it wasn't a bucket load of cash for something by a budget Manufacturer and didn't looked like a slapped backside. This is only the first of a slew of similar monitors, the Swift's fantastic and will see me out until someone produces a nicer looking Monitor with the exact same specs and better warranty. Saying that, i'm still tempted...:D
 
My Swift is excellent, no issues at all. The Acer IPS panel would be nice but it has a fair share of problems with dead pixels based on other forums. Choose you fav and return it if you get a duff one.
 
Just search that dell monitor or 34um95 + backlight bleed on google and there are plenty of awful monitors including mine :p

Unfortunately the 21.9 29/34" IPS panels are very prone to having bad backlight bleed and/or excessive IPS glow, such a shame as 21.9 AR is amazing for media consumption.

My 29um65 seems to have gotten worse over the last week so I won't be sticking with it for much longer, not sure what to get though...
 
It's just a case of picking one that has the least drawbacks or ones you can put up with.

It's a shame outside of resolution and hz increases that screens haven't really progressed all that much in 10 years.

yep, think I will end up trying the Swift if I get a dodgy one Acer, chances are I probably will... :D

Yes, it killed it for me. I'm ok with the Swift for now, I don't tend to move my head with the game like some old people do ". (Last viewing angle joke :p)
