refurbished macs

It's up to you, you can erase your disk and install afresh or do an archive install which saves your old files to a disk image and then installs the OS. It surely does an in-place upgrade, too, but I'm not sure having never done one myself.

with the archive update does it do a fresh install and then place all your files back in their proper directories after the install is complete? Sorry im completely new to macs!
