Right I have a small issue with something that will be delivered... I ordered an Asus 5850 from somewhere else it wasn't in stock for months and today I get an e-mail saying it's arrived and been sent out...

...I already have one which I got from Overclockers. Here in lies the issue, to return the card it's going to cost me ~£10, however in theory if I refuse to accept the item when it's delivered it should be sent back to the company and I won't be charged for it, correct? If that goes according to plan then they should also issue me with a refund.

All rather a silly issue, having received my card I was too excited to think of anything else and then I got this e-mail and... oh dear :p

So, advice please.

Unless of course the courier/RM decide to dump the box on your doorstep - in which case you don't get a choice.

Also, Distance Selling Regs would still apply since they start from delivery, not order, so yes, they'll take it back.

Yup, just don't sign for it, so it will have to be returned, then just let them know you refused it as you got one elsewhere, so would like a refund, which they'll have to give, as you'll be using the 7 days DSR wouldn't you.

EDIT: Yup, as above the DSR
