Reg database

Is there anywhere I can look up a reg number to check what the car is? I remember there being a site out there a while back but i cant remember it

Stick reg plate in the first box on the right hand side, it will give you make and model for free.

Cheers mate, thats actually the site that made me make the thread

It didnt find any details on the reg plate i put in so it made me wonder whether the site had full access to the database

or whether its a dodgy plate or what..

there are rare errors on there, but on the whole its pretty good.
