Regarding RTX3080-10G-EK

Hi all

I've searched everywhere to find out some information about the release of the ASUS/EK colab and can't find anything. Purchase quite a few times from OC but does anyone know if this will become available here?

Sorry if this has been posted before I tried searching for a thread on this but couldn't see one!

I was under the impression it was being released in November, just wasn't sure if OC was going to have it on release day..

Just to add a bit more information to this thread, it's not a 3080 that has been released yet, it is the one that comes pre-built with the EKWB cooling block.

I don’t think you have, I watched a live stream from ASUS DIY on Facebook and he stated it hasn’t been released yet.. I’ve heard it’s rumoured 14th December in NA approx so keep an eye on it!

I think the 3080 is going to be about £900 and the 3090 about £1650

Ah really? Can you get the pictures I’d love to see it.. i think there’s a good chance it’s an early access sample, could be wrong though!

Thanks for that I found it! Does look good, I’ve got a vertical mount “IF” I manage to get hold of one though, I have the 011D too so hopefully it will look as good

Yeah I see what you mean, I currently have a 3070 FE at the moment and it's actually quite reasonably sized.. I'm not too sure as a comparison what this EK card will be like but it just doesn't appear to be enormous like the others.

Do you really think you'll sturggle with space having an XL, mine isn't an XL.. I use the 011D Distro plate for my loop, do you have a reservoir and pump installation?

That just looks fanastic even without RGB.. I was sceptical about how it would look with so much space but it does look great!

Yeah I agree, but the plumbing size of it is the fun part! (Providing it doesn't leak..). r/edit - I see, I think either way I'm going to have to try something out with my normal before considering getting the XL!
