So you've read the article about centralized backups, compression, health monitoring, WHS Drive Extender and dynamic disk control?

Perhaps you should read some facts before trolling.

@ all the people that have been accepted to beta test. how long did you have to wait for your acceptance emails??

cheers

nothing that cant already be done using 3rd party applications, and from what i have been reading on forums, the home server os will not be released indisk format, only on home server pcs........... its just a gloreyfied media server, heck linux can do that for free, and correct me if im wrong here, vista originaly had soem "wow" featuers where are they all now, i bet you they wont end up in the final, normaly i sign up for these type of betas as they are intesting, but unless you are going to buy a ready made server, what isthe point, i believe hp will be the first to realse a home server box, i think i read it in micromart magazine, and trolling, i think you need to get your facts straight..............

Yes it can but do you think your average home use is going to find easy to install and configure a linux server to do it?

Like it or not Windows is far far easier to use and whether through work or home users are familiar with Windows.
